About Us
After graduating with a degree in Fashion Design, I spent several years designing Print and Pattern for retail clothing companies. I spent my days bringing others' visions to life, stressed out and creatively unfulfilled.
I started Magpie and Molly in my spare time, designing and creating pieces whenever I had the chance.
A few years later, I finally made the decision to leave the corporate world behind and put all my creative energy into Magpie and Molly. It was scary at first, but it was the best decision I ever made! Now, instead of designing for a corporation, I just design for me. And you, of course.
In 2013, Magpie and Molly expanded to a duo with the addition of my talented husband Jason Trautz. Jason brings a whole new energy to the brand, along with new techniques such as glass enameling and Ceramics. We've got great things in store for 2015 and can't wait to share it all with you!
